The end of something can become a start for new adventures! For Floor Jansen the final stop of After Forever didn’t mean the end of her career, nor for her cooperation with Nuclear Blast!After the break of After Forever singer Floor Jansen soon decided she wanted to start over and present a new band to the public. To accomplish this she joined forces with two additional songwriters to compose new songs for her new baby called ReVamp. “I am happy to announce this good news! Nuclear Blast has done many great things for After Forever and I am positive they can work their magic on ‘ReVamp’ as well! It’s heartwarming how they stand behind me and my new band!”, says Floor, who did five longplayers with After Forever, whos last self-titled album entered the Top 10 in their dutch mothercountry.Together with Waldemar Sorychta and her former After Forever colleague Joost van den Broek, the songwriting team was completed and the work on on the first ReVamp album, which will be released on the 4th of June 2010, started.The ReVamp sound will become a unique blend of the personal style we will recognize from these musicians. Combining these individual sounds in one album promises to result in heavy and very metal! Nuclear Blast A&R manager Jaap Wagemaker is very happy about the trust of Floor and ReVamp: „We are stoked to announce that ReVamp, the new band of Floor Jansen,the voice of After Forever has inked a deal with the label.
